About Mutual Fund

  • Mutual fund is a mechanism for pooling the resources by issuing units to the investors and investing funds in securities in accordance with objectives as disclosed in offer document.

  • Investments in securities are spread across a wide cross-section of industries and sectors and thus the risk is reduced. Diversification reduces the risk because all stocks may not move in the same direction in the same proportion at the same time. Mutual fund issues unit to the investors in accordance with quantum of money invested by them. investors of mutual funds are known as unitholders.

  • The profits or losses are shared by the investors in proportion to their investments. The mutual funds normally come out with several schemas with different investment objectives which are launched form time to time. A mutual fund is required to be registered with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) which regulates securities markets before it can collect funds from the public.

1. Visit Website Go to https://mfready.nsdlbank.com/login-corp
2. Create New Account Click on "click here to create a new account"
3. Enter Basic Details Provide Name as per PAN, PAN number, and contact details
4. KRA Verification Submit the details for KRA (Know Your Customer) verification
5. Log in & Complete Profile Once KRA is compliant, log in and fill in Bank details, Address, Nominee details, and FATCA info
You can complete your KRA through the registered KRA agencies – CVL, NDML, CAMS, KFintech.
To complete your profile, log in at https://mfready.nsdlbank.com/login-corp and click on your profile name. Fill in the required details (bank, address, nominee, FATCA) and click "Submit." You'll receive an email and SMS for IIN confirmation. Approve the request, and once verified, your IIN will be activated. If IIN is inactive or rejected, check the status in Reports > Online Status Reports or customer support for further assistance.
Go to Reports > Online Status Reports to check your IIN status.
Use the 'Explore Funds' feature to filter investment options by risk level and fund type. Go to Explore Funds, there you can use sort & filter option for categorizing your fund search by asset type, AMC, risk label, return since inception, and the tool will suggest the most suitable funds based on your preferences.
The Calculators section provides interactive tools to help investors make well- informed decisions regarding mutual fund investment. Here’s how you can utilize them effectively:
  • Plan SIP Investments using the SIP Calculator to estimate future returns.
  • Create Wealth by analysing long-term mutual fund growth.
  • Save Tax with ELSS mutual funds using the Tax Savings Calculator (as per your tax regime).
  • Plan Retirement by calculating the required corpus with mutual funds.

These tools help you strategize and maximize mutual fund returns effectively.
Go to "Online Transaction" > "Lumpsum", select a scheme, enter the investment amount, and click "Customize". Choose an existing folio (if available) and a payment mode (UPI, Net Banking, NEFT/RTGS, Debit Mandate, or Cheque). Agree to the Terms & Conditions, then either "Proceed to Payment" or "Add to Cart" to place multiple orders. Review and confirm your order.
Go to "Online Transaction" > "SIP", select a scheme, frequency, and SIP start date. Choose an ACH Mandate (or create one if unavailable), enter the investment amount, and click "Customize". Select an existing folio (if available) and a payment mode (UPI, Net Banking, NEFT/RTGS, Debit Mandate, or Cheque). Set the SIP end date (same day as the start date). Agree to the Terms & Conditions, then either "Proceed to Payment" or "Add to Cart" for multiple orders. Review and confirm your order.
Go to "Online Transaction" > "SIP", select a scheme, frequency, and SIP start date. Click "New Mandate", choose mandate type (Online), set start & end date, enter the amount (≥ SIP period & amount), select bank name & authentication mode (Aadhaar Card, Debit Card, Net banking), then generate the mandate. Approve the ACH mandate via the confirmation email/SMS from NSENMF.

Go to "Online Transaction" > "Redeem", select a scheme, folio number, and bank. Choose redemption by Units, Amount or All Units, enter the details, agree to the Terms & Conditions, and click "Submit". Review and confirm your order.

ELSS mutual fund schemes have a mandatory lock-in period of 3 years from the date of investment. You cannot redeem your investment before this period ends. Redemption processing typically takes T+2 business days (where T = transaction day). The proceeds are credited to your registered bank account.

Go to "Online Transaction" > "Switch", select the from scheme, folio, and target scheme. Choose to switch by Units, Amount or All Units, enter the details, agree to the Terms & Conditions, and click "Submit". Review and confirm the order.

Note: Switching is allowed within the same AMC and folio only.

Go to "Online Transaction" > "STP", select the source scheme, target scheme, folio, and frequency. Set the STP date, start & end date, enter the transfer amount, agree to the Terms & Conditions, and click "Submit". Review and confirm the order.

Note: STP can be registered within the same AMC and folio only.

Go to "Online Transaction" > "SWP", select the from scheme, folio, and withdrawal frequency. Set the SWP date, start & end date, enter the withdrawal amount, agree to the Terms & Conditions, and click "Submit". Review and confirm the order.

To access your investment reports on the portal, go to the "Reports" section from the left-hand menu. You can choose from three tabs:

  • Portfolio Reports: View various reports such as Allocation Report, Holding Report, Detailed Holding Report, Capital Gain Report, Dividend Report, Transaction Report, Order Book Report, and Folio Report.
  • SIP Reports: Access details of Active SIP, Bounced SIP, Expired SIP (Matured), Terminated SIP, and Registered SIP.
  • Online Status Reports: Check you NSENMF IIN status.

In all reports option there are filters available for Asset type, AMC, Scheme & folio number to customize your report. Apply the desired filters as per your requirements and generate the report for viewing or downloading.

Go to the "Reports" section and select "Capital Gain Report" under Portfolio Reports. Use the available filters like Asset Type, AMC, and Period to refine the report. Click on "Generate", then select the download option to save the report.

To track your transaction order status, go to the "Reports" section and select "Order Book Report" under Portfolio Reports. Choose the desired period and click on "Show Report" to view the details.
